We had a scout service project today. We had a bake sale at VONS. The boys all had a lot of fun and made lots of money to benefit kids with cancer. We raised $524!!!! With glads match donation, because of our troop $1048 will be donated to the cookies for kids foundation! Thanks to all the boys and their parents who made this possible!
The boys also had some fun getting a tour of a fire truck. The fireman also generously bought some cookies and gave the kids Jr. Fireman stickers.
At the end of the day we got a quick tour of VONS bakery and saw all the yummy things that they bake. VONS also gave each kid two cookies.
